The Bambi Molesters’ Live Film “A Night In Zagreb” Screening in Brazil

Concert film ‘A Night in Zagreb’ directed by Mark Little is in official competition of independent film festival in Brasil. Distinctive quality and unique creativity of the band The Bambi Molesters received one more global recognition.

Their live film ‘A Night in Zagreb’ was released in December 2012 and enrolled into the festival of German independent film ”1º Festival de Cinema Independente Alemão” in Brasil. The festival will take place from July, 12-21 in Porto Alegre. ‘A Night in Zagreb’ is in the competition with 23 other films.
A year and a half after the release of critically acclaimed and commercial studio album ‘As the Dark Wave Swells’, The Bambi Molesters had published, for the first time, live album and DVD that was released in late 2011 – followed by the first live film in HD quality.

After almost seventeen years of band’s life span and traveling the local and world stages, The Bambi Molesters decided to film the concert held in Teatre &TD on March, 29th 2011. They invited top music audience and collaborators as well as producers from Slowboat Films lead by Marc Littler, who is one of the most appreciated German independent directors of a younger generation.

The project resulted in 90- minutes surfing through the career of Croatian most known band who met Litter on one of their tours and who made the video for the single ‘As the Dark Wave Swells’

At the time they met, Litter was at the beginning of his career and now, ten years later he is acclaimed and established European film and video director.

A release of ‘A Night in Zagreb’ is a package of a top designed set of DVD and a double CD.
