Unknown Festival in Rovinj

Festival promoters have joined forces to develop a new festival in Croatia - called ‘Unknown’. The brains behind Hideout Festival, The Warehouse Project and Field Day said their new Unknown Festival will be held in Rovinj, northern Croatia, from 10-14 September 2013.

Croatia to host World Art Games

The World Art Games are scheduled to take place in Croatia from June 29 to July 10 next year. Organizers have revealed the event will take place in four cities, Zagreb, Umag, Vukovar and Ludbreg.

France to host Croatian Festival in autumn

Croatia will present itself at the Croatian Festival in France as part of the Cultural Season event between September and December, as the first country from Southeast Europe, with a series of cultural, tourism, economic, sporting and educational programmes, reporters were told on Wednesday at the Culture Ministry, the project coordinator.

Faculty of Textile Technology opens new labs

Two new laboratories were opened at Zagreb's Faculty of Textile Technolog on Wednesday by Minister of Science, Education and Sports Radovan Fuchs.

New Museum of Contemporary Art opens in Zagreb

On Friday, December 11, 2009 at 8.00 p.m. the new building of MSU, located at Dubrovnik Avenue no. 17, will open its gates to distinguished guests invited to the festive inauguration. The museum will be officially opened by Croatia's Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor and by Milan Bandić, mayor of Zagreb, while Snježana Pintarić, director of MSU, and Božo Biškupić, minister of culture, will welcome the guests.

Night of EU cultural institutes to be held in Zagreb

The European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) Croatia will organise, for the second time and in cooperation with the Culture of Change of the Zagreb Students' Centre, the Night of EU Cultural Institutes, to be held in the Students' Centre on May 9.

Museum of Broken Relationships in Singapore and San Francisco
