Room 100 to perform in Finland

Room 100 - Experimental performing company from Split, Croatia will have a guest appearance with their performance C8H11NO2 from 12 to 14 December at Teatteri Union in Helsinki.

C8H11NO2 is the result of a unique creative process by self-taught artists. A mixture of contortion, dislocation, butoh and break dance performed to dark ambient music played live by Davor Gazde on analogue oscillators.

C8H11NO2 stunned the jury of the “Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe 2009 - 2010” platform, earning Room 100 an award and the highest score in the ten year long project’s history. The critics praised C8H11NO2 as an “exceptional example of an intelligent, accurate, deliberate and intensive work”.

C8H11NO2 premiered in Paris in September 2011 and has since been performed at performing arts, contemporary dance and contemporary circus festivals in France, Belgium, Netherlands, Finland, Denmark, Switzerland, Lithuania, Croatia…
