Bruno Isaković at artist-in-residence programme in Spain

Choreographer and performer Bruni Isaković will  partake artist-in-residence programme within the project Performing Gender in Madrid's Reina Sofia Museum.

Bruno Isaković was born on December 21, 1981. In 2009, he graduated contemporary dance from Amsterdam School of the Arts. In 2010, he returned to Croatia to continue his intense activities in the field of dance art. In September 2011 he became a member of Contemporary Dance Studio. He works with different choreographers (Irma Omerzo, Sanja Tropp, Ana-Marija Bogdanović, Francesco Scavetta, Silvija Marchig, Pavle Heidler...), creates his own shows (Superfluous Surplus, Refrakcije, The Garden of Thoughts, All of this will be lost to memory, Zaziv...) and holds workshops for dancers.

Performing Gender is a European dance project making use of artistic and cultural tools to open up a civil reflection on gender and sexual orientation differences, seen as sources of values and richness for the whole European society.

The project gathers partners such as Domino (Queer Zagreb) from Croatia, Gender Bender Festival from Italy, Netherlands' Dutch Dance Festival and (Paso a 2 Plataforma Coreográfica Asociación Cultural from Spain.
