Arctic Monkeys to perform in Zagreb

Famous English indie rock band Arctic Monkeys just confirmed their performance at INmusic festival. Alex Turner (lead vocal), Jamie Cook (lead guitar), Matt Helders (drums) and Nick O'Malley (bass guitar) will hold their first concert at Croatia's capital – Zagreb.

They have already sold millions of records worldwide and performed at practically all major music festivals. This summer they are announced as headliners at Hurricane and Southside festival in Germany, Open'er festival in Poland, Benicassim festival in Spain, Super Rock festival in Portugal and Rock in Roma festival in Italy. These talented young English musicians are the new enhancement of Croatia's INmusic festival line up which, so far, includes Iggy and the Stooges and NOFX.

Arctic Monkeys were formed in 2002 and became one of the first groups to come to public attention via Internet. Their first album „Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" was released in 2006. Songs such as "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" and "When the Sun Goes Down" became instant massive hits. Three albums followed the hit debut: "Favourite Worst Nightmare" (2007), "Humbug" (2009) and "Suck It and See" (2011). The world is waiting for the new album that is said to be released this year, so the audience at INmusic festival will have the privilege of seeing and hearing the new songs live this June.

The festival will take place from 24 to 26 June in Zagreb and the Arctic Monkeys will be one of attractions of the event.

Tickets will cost around 40 pounds.
