As part of the Croatian exhibition at the 54th Venice Biennale BADco. is presenting a site-specific installation and intervention titled /Responsibility for Things Seen: Tales in Negative Space/, the first phase of a multi-segment project we will conclude with a premiere at the Zagreb Youth Theater in early 2012.

The central concern of the project is the issue of mediated responsibility, relating to events we witness in images and different modes of spectating.

The Venice installation, conceived as theater by other means, will construct the field of friction between the power of images to engage our collective imagination, to open or shut the horizon of the future, and different modes of spectating - opening a potential space of critical and transformative work of spectating.
