Miroslav Sekulic in Angouleme

Comic book author Miroslav Sekulic has been selected for the final of the International Comics Festival Angouleme, which is set to take place between 28th and and 31st of January in France. 400 cartoonists are in the starting blocks for the biggest graphic marathon in the world and it is live on the net.

The 24 hours comics day was successfully initiated three years ago by the then President of the Jury, Lewis Trondheim, on the basis of a creative exercise under constraint as originally conceived by American cartoonist Scott McCloud. The 24 hours comics day consists for each competing author in producing 24 pages in 24 hours, including a front cover, 22 pages and a back cover, under a constraint only to be revealed at the very last minute.

Miroslav Sekulic is self-taught painter, comic book artist and musitian. He lives and works in Zagreb.
