Award for Amnesiac
Amnesiac on the Beach by Dalibor Barić is awarded with one of its Grand Prix at the Festival of Different and Experimental Cinema in Paris., organized by an international film distribution Collectif Jeune Cinema. The festival took place in Paris, and this was its 15th edition.

Grand Prix in Albania for Arsen Anton Ostoić

Zagreb Film Festival 100 films in its 2013 edition

Miro Gavran's drama "Couples" will be premiered on September 25th at the Drama Theater Klaipeda in Klaipeda, Lithuania. Play Dr. Freud's Patient to be premiered in Kosovo
Miro Gavran's drama "Dr. Freud's Patient" will be premiered on September 13th in the Professional Theater of Gnjilane in Gnjilane, Kosovo. The play was translated into Albanian by Ernest Zymberi, and directed by Erson Zymberi, while the main roles are performed by Muharem Sylejmani, Mejrema Barish and Ali Demi.
'Japan meets Zagreb' exhibition opened in Zagreb
The exhibition "Japan meets Zagreb - the glow of Japanese contemporary art", which feature some 250 Japanese art pieces, was opened in Zagreb's Ethnographic Museum on 10 September, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Croatia-Japan diplomatic relations and as part of the International Japan-Croatia Meeting of Artists.

The fourth season of the highly popular HBO's television series Game of Thrones started filming this week in Dubrovnik. With the local coordination of Croatian production house Embassy Films Game of Thrones series is among the first beneficiaries of the Croatian Production Incentive Program – a system of cash rebates enabled by the Croatian Audiovisual Center and Croatian Ministry of Culture.
'One Shot', 'The Prettyboy' and 'I Love YU' in Montreal’s programme
The Montreal World Film Festival, whose 37th edition takes place 22 August – 2 September, selected three Croatian films in its programme. The crime drama One Shot directed by Robert Orhel will be screened in the World Competition, and short films The Prettyboy by Saša Ban and I Love YU by Irena Škorić in Focus on World Cinema.
'A Stranger' and ‘Married to the Swiss Franc’ Win Awards at Sarajevo Film Festival
Croatian film writes new success stories: at the recently closed 19th edition of Sarajevo Film Festival, A Stranger by Bobo Jelčić won the Special Jury Award and Heart of Sarajevo for best actor – Bogdan Diklić, while other awards went to documentary films Married to the Swiss Franc by Arsen Oremović, The Verdict by Đuro Gavran, My! My! My Little Room! by Barbara Vekarić, and the documentary project Mia, Myself and an Extra Chromosome by Eva Kraljević.
