red dot award: product design 2010

time: 22.1.2010.
organiser: red dot
The red dot design award enters a new round – and with it several thousand applicants for the sought-after quality seal, the “red dot”. They all show courage by facing the international competition and investing: in design, quality, and innovation, despite the economically uncertain times.

However, it is exactly this courage that will pay off – because quality and innovation are crucial differentiation factors when it comes to surviving in the global market.

The high-class jury has already been determined and this year again consists of renowned international design experts.

Besides already established jurors such as Professor Werner Aisslinger and Sebastian Conran, Lyndon Neri, a Chinese architect and all-rounder in product design, Satyendra Pakhalé, an Indian designer with a design studio in Amsterdam, and automobile design icon Ken Okuyama are among those celebrating their premiere as jury members in the red dot award. This year, in total 30 jurors from 21 nations will judge the design quality of the submitted products based on strict assessment criteria.

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to make your mark nationally as well as internationally with your design achievements and impress the jury with innovative products of the highest quality – you can register online at www.red-dot.de/registration until 22 January 2010!
