International symposium on the Croatian Glagolitic script in Reims

On Wednesday 13 February an international symposium entitled Reims Gospel – the masterpiece of the Croatian Glagolitic script (L’ÉVANGÉLIAIRE DE  REIMS Chef-d’œuvre de l’alphabet glagolitique croate) took place at the Palais du Tau (Centre des Monuments Nationaux) in Reims as part of the Croatian Cultural Festival.

The symposium has been organized by the Palais du Tau, National and University Library in Zagreb, University of Reims, and the French Studies and Research Centre in Cultural History. 

The symposium’s programme included a lecture by Ivan Kosić, Ph.D., Head of the Manuscripts and Old Books Collection at the National and University Library in Zagreb, on the influence of the work Somme le Roi by the French Dominican Laurent d’Orléans in Croatian Glagolitic literature (Utjecaj djela Somme le Roi francuskoga dominikanca Laurenta d’Orléansa u hrvatskoj glagoljskoj književnosti).
