Croatian Film Days 2012

place: Zagreb, Croatia
organiser: SC - Culture of Change
Croatian Film Days will be held in Zagreb's Studenski Centar cinema on April 16-22. This year, the festival will feature some 110 films - motion pictures, animated, documentary and experimental films, music videos and silent movies. A three-day free of charge workshop will be held as part of the event.
The festival is competitive – besides the DHF award in each category, the following awards are also granted: The Oktavijan Life's Work Award is given by the Croatian Society of Film Critics and several awards for special achievements in cinematography.

The selection includes feature films (up to 60 minutes in length), documentaries, animated, experimental and special films (without limitations as to the duration) and short films (up to 30 minutes in length) in professional film and video formats.

The films have been selected by a committee and the Film Artists' Association of Croatia awards the OKTAVIJAN prize for individual categories. The official festival jury awards prizes for the best directing, best script, best camera work, best music, best editing, best production and best newcomer. A special jury will award the traditional prizes “Golden lamp”, “Jelena Rajković”, “Kodak” and “Vladimir Vuković”.
