Experimental Performing Company 'Room 100' will make guest appearances with the performance 'C8H11NO2' at the Festival of New Circus Forms 'Spring' in Cherbourg,  France on 30 and 31 March.

Experimental theatre company from Split, Croatia. Room 100 was established by Antonia Kuzmanić and Jakov Labrović in 2010.

C8H11NO2, the first show by Room 100, is the result of a unique creative process by self-taught artists. A mixture of butoh, contortion and break dance performed to dark ambient music played live by Davor Gazde on analogue oscillators.

C8H11NO2 is a starkly physical vision of the world of schizophrenia: intense, disturbing, yet intimate and hypnotic.

C8H11NO2 stunned the jury of the “Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe 2009 - 2010” festival, earning the young Croatian company an award and the highest score in the ten year long history of the festival. The critics praised C8H11NO2 as an “exceptional example of an intelligent, accurate, deliberate and intensive work”.

C8H11NO2 premiered in Paris in September 2011 and has since been performed at performing arts, contemporary dance and contemporary circus festivals in France, Belgium, Netherlands, Finland, Denmark, Croatia…
