The Zagreb Culture Board entrusted the Croatian Architects Association, co-organizer being the Zagreb Architects Association, with the organization of 38th Zagreb Salon which will take place at the Gliptoteque of the Croatian Academy of Arts and Sciences (HAZU).

The Salon has been envisaged as an event aiming to position the Croatian architectonic production of the period between 2000 and 2003 within the contemporary European context. The exhibits have been grouped in the following categories:
-public space
-collective buildings
-urban design
-interior design

Prof. Stefano Boeri, architect, urbanism expert and critic (Italy) has been the selector of the Salon.

A number of events will take place during the Zagreb Salon 2003 - specialised exhibitions, promotions, lectures and discussions, in collaboration with other institutions and associations devoted to architecture and spatial culture. The research laboratory exhibition of the Italian "Multiplicity" group in the premises of the Croatian Architects Association and the Zagreb Architects Association, as well as opening the Architects' Club to the public during the exhibition will make this location one of the most recommendable places in the town at the end of this year. There will be a separate exhibition of the works by Nikola Bašić, winner of teh Grand Prize of the 35th Zagreb Salon.
